Meet the Officers
Nancy “Coach” Patterson, President
I am a Past Worthy Advisor and a twenty year Advisory Board member of Reading Assembly No. 29. I am a 37 year member and four-time Past Matron of Priscilla Chapter No. 52, OES. At the Grand Chapter level I have been a Deputy Grand Matron and Marshal, Personal Page to the WGM, and Grand Chaplain. I am the first MA Eastern Star member, who is not a PGM, to receive a General Grand Chapter Special Appointment as Friend of a Feather for PMWGM Barbara Benton. Currently I am a member of the Grand Chapter Finance Committee, Chairman of the Ad Book Committee, and a member of the Venue Search, Committee.
Amy Randall, Vice President
I am a recent Majority member of Rainbow. I served Grand Assembly as Grand Worthy Advisor from 2013-2014.
This is an exciting time for Massachusetts Rainbow and I am delighted to be a part of it.
Ellen McKay, PhD., CPA, Treasurer
I was active in and received my Majority from Fort Gilbert Assembly # 96 in West Brookfield, served on the Advisory Board and as Mother Advisor of Northampton Assembly No. 112 in Northampton and on the Advisory Board of Orange Assembly No. 101. Unfortunately, all three of these Assemblies are now closed.
I have been a member of Eastern Star for 47 years serving as Worthy Matron 10 times and several years in various positions for Grand Chapter. From 2013-2014, I served as Worthy Grand Matron of the Grand Chapter of Massachusetts, OES. I have also served as presiding officer of Nashoba Valley Court # 13, Order of the Amaranth as well as Grand Treasurer of the Grand Court and of Galilean Shrine (now part of Haverhill Shrine #1) of the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem.
I am very pleased to be involved in the Alumnae group as Rainbow gave me a start in the fraternal life.
Michelle Ricci, PGWA, Secretary
My name is Michelle Ricci and I am your MMAA Secretary! I joined Rainbow when I was 11 years old and received my Majority at age 21. During those 10 years, I was a PWA of two different assemblies (North Reading #103 and Wakefield #43), attended and worked as a JC and Counselor at Rainbow Camp for 5 consecutive years, and held 3 Grand Officer titles (Grand Charity, 04-05 -- Grand Drill Leader, 05-06 -- and lastly as Grand Worthy Advisor in 06-07). I am thrilled to be back involved in MA Rainbow and look forward to serving as your MMAA secretary!
